Here are some Frequently Asked Questions and Answers I’ve put together, the kind of information I'd like to know when visiting my favourite sites:
- If I order a print, how long before it's posted, and how will it arrive?
I aim to ship all orders within 2 business days (quite often this will be much sooner). A4 items are shipped in a flat padded bag, with A3 or larger pieces sent in a mailing tube. If you order a selection of A4 and A3 and larger sizes, I will post together in the one mailing tube. All items are shipped via Australia Post. I'll email you with the tracking details once the item has shipped;
- If I have an idea can you draw something for me?
Yes, I’d be happy to work with customers in creating something unique. Whether it's just an idea that you have, or a rough sketch that you've made that I can work from, I'm happy to give it a go. Email me through the details and I'll work through the options and provide you with a reasonably priced quote.
- I'm interested in buying wholesale and / or stocking your prints!
I would love to discuss your requirements in more detail. Please contact me via email or give me a call on 0417676141;
- Do you provide framing for your prints?
At this stage I do not ship framed prints. I do, however, provide a selection of framed prints that can be purchased at my market stalls or in person. Please see the 'markets & events' section for our dates and locations, or contact us for local pick up if you are in the Capricorn Coast (Yeppoon/Rockhampton) area;
- Are all the artworks hand drawn?
All of the artworks are completely hand drawn. I usually start with pencil first until I’m happy with the layout, I then go over the pencil in fine tip black Sharpie pen. Once I have the black outline the fun part begins.. the colouring in! I use a mixture of coloured pencil brands including Faber Castell, Prismacolor, Derwent, Micador, Staedtler.. in fact I think I have a bit of a coloured pencil addiction!
- Are all the ideas yours?
For the most part the ideas are mine, and they pop into my head at a variety of different times. Usually when I'm quietly working on another piece, I find the images for something new start forming. I also get really good ideas from my friends and customers;
- What's with the cat?
What can I say, I just love cats.. ‘Crazy Cat Lady’ in the making! I’m currently owned by two gorgeous cats, and waste endless hours just gazing at them adoringly as they doze, admiring their grace and agility while they groom or slink around, or have a good giggle while watching their crazy antics. When it came to choosing a logo and name, it was the first and only choice.
